Snap protects rapists and sexual harassers

My account has been banned and they won’t appeal it because I went off on people who were saying they’d r@pe me, and people who send me nude pictures without any prior consent. Snapchat protects these people and it’s disgusting. You report them and nothing is done, yet when you stand up for yourself you end up getting banned. These people are also pedophiles, they don’t ask ages before sending their private pictures which generally means they’re adding minors and sending it to them without knowing because they don’t care to ask for consent or ages. The fact snapchat does nothing about this but instead goes after victims is proof that these apps will always protect abusers at the extent of hurting the victims and silencing them.

Falsely device banned

I have had my account for 5 years and all of a sudden my account locked me out and I can’t reactivate it on my other device. I literally haven’t did nothing to go against the terms of service. Most of the time I am texting actual people and block those sex bots and cash app people. I hate the fact I lost all my photos and videos I had in my memories and now I can’t even make a new one and yet there are sex offenders, perverts, pedos, and more dangerous people using this app. Even if I can get my account back not sure I want to use the app again.

Groomed

So basically I loved this app sm until one day this guy added me. I was 9 so I added him back. He started saying weird things but I thought it was normal. He then threatened for my nudes or else he would come to my house. I believed him so I did. He saved that photo and made me do everything he says so he wouldn’t post that photo.

Banned me, did not give me a reason.

I had this snapchat account for almost 2 years now and snapchat banned me and said my account was deleted because i violated their rules. they didn’t even tell me what i did and as far as i know i didn’t do anything wrong. again why am i getting banned as a minor that didn’t do anything wrong but when i try to report sex offending pedophiles they’re still using snapchat 😂 funny world!

Too many sex worker accounts

I’ve used Snapchat for 5 years now and I’ve come to realize the longer I’ve had an account more sex workers started making fake accounts to sell nudes and videos to minors and people of all ages. This app is not meant for kids or immature young adults.

There’s some 20 year old man praying on a 12 year old girl on this app sending his nudes and liking that she’s under age. This app shouldn’t be for kids that don’t know how to responsibility use it and it needs updates on scanning every snap before it’s sent. This man’s user name is nocapaj19 so that account should be deleted immediately it’s truly disgusting to see people being like this towards kids. There is also screenshot proof of the chat

Remove AI

The AI technology is such uncharted territory and should not be deployed in an app that so many children use. Aside from the fact that the MyAI feature is annoying and removing the feature requires a paid subscription, the feature is also incredibly dangerous. A 13 year old girl messaged the AI saying that they met a 31 year old man on Snapchat, and that they were going to meet in person. The AI encouraged her. She told the AI that this man was taking her on a trip out of state, to an unknown location. Again, The AI encouraged her. She told the AI that they were going to have sex, and that she would be losing her virginity. Not only did the AI encouraged her, it suggested she bring candles to “set the mood.” This “highly advanced” AI is literally grooming children for pedophiles. REMOVE THIS FEATURE OR CHILDREN WILL BE HARMED BY IT.

Fake accounts

Welcome to an app that’s designed for 12 years old and up where people will randomly add you send you nudes and tell you join there only fans. But if that’s not your cup of tea then some will ask you join telegram app. This app is a joke an scam XD why people use this is beyond me

Bots

Ok I love snap but the only bad thing is Bots for example I added someone that was said to have 20 plus mutual friends but was actually a bot. She was trying to get me to send nudes and asking me inapropriate questions I know she was a bot because she talked like one and she told me she lived in Snapchat headquarters apparently I imideatly reported her but the report has not been taken into consideration yet probally because she was a bot I am only 15 and do not appreciate boys like this also one time I was on call with my boyfriend and a random person joined our call neither of us new him and he had his camera off and was making weird noises in the mike he was not friended and he was probally another bot we couldn’t report him but right away left the call and decided to FaceTime instead. The boys are very creepy and should be taken off soon

Full of scammers and pedos. Not cool anymore

I use Snapchat pretty consistently but they really just don’t care. I have reported my old account being hacked 2-3 times now and all my friends have and Snapchat hasn’t taken it down. They are letting someone use my old snap when I was 13 years old to scam people using pictures of my face to sell nudes.

Snapchat, at its core, is a good premise. They’re main function as a quick chatting and picture sharing platform is truly great. However, their content? The content they allow is the most bottom-tier, embarrassing, low-brow and thoughtless content I’ve ever witnessed. It is the absolute worst. I can’t imagine having a child and knowing that they’re on this app and that they’re going to be forced to watch that crap. And I’m not exaggerating when I say forced. You cannot escape, lord knows I’ve tried. You’re forced to see it when you go through stories I’ve seen borderline child porn, inflammatory videos, basically racist content and a host of other things that i don’t even want to rack my brain to remember. Snapchat, either put your content on another page (lol we all know you won’t because then the click rate and your profits would go down) or please do a more thorough job of monitoring what’s posted. I try everyday to convince my friends to change to another platform for our group message as that’s the only reason I have this stupid app on my phone. Hopefully one day they listen. Update: now they added a channel specifically for Andrew Tate? Snapchat is the worst.

The only thing that I don’t really like about the app is how many pedophiles are on there there’s always people asking me and my friends for nudes and it’s kind of stupid or people asking me if I have cash app so that they can give me money for the money that I give them it’s kind of like a cash flip thing and we all know that it’s clearly a scam and it’s just really annoying but other than that I think the app is great it makes it easy to talk to my friends and my family

Ive been sent to many nudes on here and im 14

I mean its a fun app n all the filters n talking to people but as ive grown n been on it for awhile ive seen that alot of young kids use n to meet up n do all kinds of stuff n send child pornography it’s become bad how many young boys beg young girls for stuff like this on then show alot of people ofc when this happens the law get involved but i feel like if they where more strict on here this jus wouldn’t happen but its still not bad for people who juh wanna talk to there friends n stuff but if your a parent id say u would wanna go thur your kids snap cuz it’s getting bad all the drugs ext.

It’s mainly known for people sending nudes and such not for making friends and that’s just sad, I got used for nudes so many times I got blackmailed a few times too, so if you’re under the age of 13 or 14 please don’t get this app you’re not ready for it please wait it doesn’t matter if all the other kids have snap and you don’t please wait til you’re older don’t join at 7-8 like I did and when you do join do NOT send nudes, it’ll put you down a path in life I promise you don’t wanna go down, so many things can happen and that’s the main reason I stopped sending because before I saw no harm in it but then I got older and more and more people asked, so I do not recommend Snapchat for people younger than 13, please don’t get it til you’re older.

i like snapchat alot and how i can communicate with my family and friends, its super cool how you can snap back and forth plus doing streaks. Something also i really like about snap is posting on your stories so you can snap about yourself and making new friends and what you do in your daily life. There are a couple things that i dont like about snapchat is how there are these predators on there looking for children to do nudes and bad things on the internet and i like how you can report the photos and chats its just i really want the kids and teens on snap to be careful and talk to the people you know cause some people arent what you think. There is another thing i wanted to mention that i dont like is when you want to post a vid in your story but the time limit is only 1 minute. I think the limit should be around 3-5 minutes because some people like to post tiktoks on their story and tiktoks can be longer than a minute sometimes so its very tricky to add something like that. i love heroin so much but one thing i might love more is snapchat. ever since my family neglected me and kicked me out i have been using snapchat to cope. i love asking minors for nudes and it’s so quick and efficient to contact my heroin dealers i definitely recommend snapchat for heroin users and child predators
