Bad app. Cant even go to store page

Does not load on iPhone SE3. Period Constantly freezing and crashing, lenses not working, chats not sending, requests not sending or approving, and the amount of ads in your face that look like normal UI input is absolutely egregious. Not to mention they literally sell pron-ography in basically their version of Instagram Reels, acting as a competitor to Onlyfans and Fansly in that market. These ads reach everyone. Including minors I work with . Which is how I know. Don’t delete my review again. I will be posting screenshots on Twitter and filing a legal dispute over this if you delete this again. Apple is defending Snapchat’s bad practices. Apple is bad. I can’t even tell Siri what I want without you Apple People being terrible. Snapchat+ was a ridiculous addition, but easy to ignore since it doesn't take away any features. Now Snapchat wants to make people pay to have more than 5GB of memories stored? It's like they're begging people to stop using their app. So many bad decisions that weren't made with the users in mind, but rather how much money could be squeezed out of their pockets. 5 stars because people need to see this. I see many people allowing their children to use this app where you literally can’t check to see if your child is being safe online. i’ve had several people send me sexually explicit photos without even knowing how old i am or what i look like. this is NOT an app for children and parents who allow their children to use it need to step up. all these parents are setting up their kids to be sneaky and messed up. young kids don’t always know they’re being groomed until its too late.

It banned my account for no reason and now it’s disabled and banned and I can’t use snapchat every again and snap is not for children because random ppl love sending explicit pictures and love asking your children to trade.

Great to an extent

Snapchat is an amazing app that lets communication between people from across the world as easy as possible. Though flaws include that there really isn’t a profanity filter, and it’s very likely that someone will run into people sending them pictures with nudity. This is why most cases of exposed nudes from minors happens on Snapchat. Though this instant is rare for most and the app has barely any real flaws in the sense of the app itself working.

I’ve been completely logged out of my account that I have 8+ years of memories on. Pictures of loved ones and pets that have since passed. I’ve been trying to get into my account since January with no avail. Snap support is a joke. It also says my number and email aren’t linked to an account, when I know they are. This also doesn’t even mention the countless creeps and pedos on the app. Not worth your time in my opinion!

I use snap as a teen myself and as an honest review it’s decent quality for social interaction but I have some issues one being that I get spam bots that add me from quick add assumingely and I’ve been shown porn which I’m not comfortable with and I honestly think the moderation could be better cause I mean it’s a little niche and quite morbid the things I’ve seen that I didn’t want part in and at the end of the day I do understand that it is aimed more towards 17+ but that’s my personal experience and opinion enjoy though and parents keep the kids safe👍

watch out for your kids

everyone on the app is either underage middle schoolers or pedophiles who send nude pictures to the middle schoolers. app should not be advertised towards children the way it is. Parents need to know immediately about the horrible things that happen on the app. the filters are cool tho
