I would literally use the app to get help with my assignments a year ago because I was struggling, but it was 99% kids (18 under) asking for explicit pics and videos in return. Not even that, mist people won't even acknowledge you or bother to message you if you refused to send or say you werent interested in more than friends. This is an app that relies of pedophelia and hookup culture and it is gross because you can't make an account if you are older than 18. It is quite frankly sickening.

Nice app but

The moderation sucks. There are way too many people selling minor 18+ videos. I’ve seen hundreds of people that are selling there awful things. But otherwise the app is good.

can’t do music in the app

i find it so annoying how i can’t do music inside the app it quiets the music so i cant hear and it doesn’t let me disable vc also the reviews are all bots it’s obvious also roblox supports predators

**Inappropriate content**

My child has had Coverstar for approx. 1 year now. It has been great for dance videos and content creation, ect. Supposed to be controlled against adult content. My child got a strike for a bathing suit, in a video.
My lord, today they show me their tablet and it is a buck naked male with XXX rated on the TV, in the background. App is deleted and never to be used again.
I thought it was a solid app for kids, but I was wrong.
Parents be very warned that this is not the super safe app that it says it is. Ridiculous!

Glitch problems

So I'll be in the middle of watching an ASMR or I'll be in the middle of watching a movie or listening music in YouTube will just kick me out. The second problem YouTube has is allowing porn knowing the age limit there is no age limit my seven-year-old cousin uses YouTube and there's porn on YouTube. It's disgusting disgusting disgusting your third problem is if I save something that my private list how come it gets deleted? What's the point of saving something if it gets deleted

I really love this app! I really enjoy singing and sometimes this app helps me know the words to songs. but there is also stuff that I don't like. One being creepy people. I've been asked out by 60 year old MEN on this app. I changed my profile to something that wasn't my face, and luckily they stopped asking that stuff. but PLEASE. For years, this game has claimed to be the safest platform. Yet, the game has so many child predators online. Roblox continues to believe this, but the games boost in popularity runs faster than the number of moderators that should keep kids safe. Roblox pushes out these updates and safety measures in Parental Controls, but predators have been on the app enough to know the tricks and find ways to squirm around it and be creepy towards kids. Maybe even yours. Inappropriate content in various forms are uploaded onto this app, accessible to all. Like public bathroom games, suggestive "make friends with neko girl" games, or "hug" games, all of which are notorious for having 18+ content. Users can upload or buy coded items off the avatar shop that are phallic and make your character naked. And this ALL happens in the moderators care. Some things get restricted or removed, but the majority of these things are left alone for everyone to experience. I cannot stress enough how much you should consider another game for your kids! Please parents do not get this game.

Ok so let me start so basically there was a 50 year old man on Roblox and he was acting like he was a teenager so then a little kid thought he was a teenager girl so then they got each others number and he figured out where she lived and they wanted to meet up so then they met up at a bus station the two kidnappers took her to Philadelphia which is like 1hr away from where the little girl lived then they finally found her 2 weeks after and she had been ABUSED

Awful Platform

There’s all kinds of crime and crime exploits that just get swept under the rug. Child predators, drug dealers, and scamming communities rarely get more than a temporary ban, but if someone doesn’t like you because you have a different opinion they can spam report YOU and get you banned. The appeal system is a joke that’s automated by a barely functioning AI, and it’s clear every update Discord wants to do everything but genuinely improve the platform. And that’s before we get to the fact they’ll be rolling out forced ID verification that’ll be run through a cheap third party service that has ALREADY BEEN HACKED BEFORE. Don’t bother with this app, and if you’re a parent and you love your kids, don’t let them anywhere near it.

Unwarranted content labels

Woke up today to see half my posts content labeled? My blog is a non-nsfw moodboard blog and I myself am I minor. Most of the posts that were content labeled are over 2-5 years old and haven’t had any issues until now. I find this false moderation to be ridiculous considering how many times I’ve personally reported content involving underage users selling nude photos, pornographic celebrity deepfakes, adults preying on minors, bot sex accounts and more, to be ignored for months and even years on end, but this is what you moderate…….?
