Me and my friend were casually streaming we were having a great time we were talking with all the people, and we were getting so hyped up when they were giving us thumbs up every time they would give it to us we would go on our skateboard. there were a couple things that were just really weird though one guy was telling us that we were hot and another guy told us to take off our clothes we thought they were just casual teenage strange behavior so we continue to stream, but then someone came on and said these people are all grown up men trying to just get a ride out out of you you think that because they are giving you thumb up they are your friends then one girl that gave us loads of thumbs up so don’t listen to him he is just being stupid. We listen to her because she seemed really really nice. but then we felt really unsafe. We thought these people were actually grown men trying to abuse us we then ended the stream and stopped deleted the app and moved on. We still feel uncomfortable to this second and hope that no one will download this app because there are grown people on it trying to take advantage of you and get you to do stuff you should not do.

Not worth it

I used to use this app on a daily basis for YEARS, ever since 2014. Around 3 years ago, I started leaving Kik and today, I no longer want anything to do with this platform. Kik had always been terrible in regards to illegal things going on, even before the change in ownership. However, the new owners seem to prioritize live streaming over minors that use this platform. When the live streaming was first implemented, I saw an account that had blatant cp as the profile picture, and reporting won’t do anything. The new owners have shown to prioritize profit over the safety of its users. There are countless groups on Kik that engage in illegal activities, such as sharing cp, doxxing, and worse. I came across a community for MAPs (minor attracted people) who were so giddy about talking about “im saying x or y child”

This platform is a complete danger chamber. If you are a parent, do not allow your child to use this platform. If I had to pick between which platform is worse between Roblox and Kik, it’s 100% kik

I would literally use the app to get help with my assignments a year ago because I was struggling, but it was 99% kids (18 under) asking for explicit pics and videos in return. Roblox continues to believe this, but the games boost in popularity runs faster than the number of moderators that should keep kids safe. Roblox pushes out these updates and safety measures in Parental Controls, but predators have been on the app enough to know the tricks and find ways to squirm around it and be creepy towards kids. Maybe even yours. Inappropriate content in various forms are uploaded onto this app, accessible to all. Like public bathroom games, suggestive "make friends with neko girl" games, or "hug" games, all of which are notorious for having 18+ content. Users can upload or buy coded items off the avatar shop that are phallic and make your character naked. And this ALL happens in the moderators care. Some things get restricted or removed, but the majority of these things are left alone for everyone to experience. I cannot stress enough how much you should consider another game for your kids! Please parents do not get this game.

Woke up today to see half my posts content labeled? My blog is a non-nsfw moodboard blog and I myself am I minor.
