They’ve lost all control

There is literally pornography being posted and when reported they do not remove it. And no I am not exaggerating. It’s literally pornography. Meta is either allowing this or they’ve just lost complete control of their own platform.

Getting blocked and inappropriate comments and videos.

I have had instagram for about 3 years now but it needs to be older than 12+ some older people on there post really inappropriate gif of guys having s*x on there and I have tried to report them but it says “this comment wasn’t removed, but we still want to help”. It’s really embarrassing and insulting disgusting and super inappropriate for older people to post those on little kid’s videos they are under age and it’s not appropriate for them to be looking at these gifs and posting pictures on child’s videos or pictures and again it’s super disgusting and inappropriate for them to see these things in the comments of other children’s videos or older women and guys to be doing this to little children. And disgusted about these people in the world

Reporting

People in comments can literally say such as, "im gonna rape you" and even worse things such as explaining why pedophilia is okay and if you report these comments nothing changes. It is truly disgusting that people can say things that aren't even legal, threats, but there is no punishment for these comments/"jokes". Reporting does NOTHING and you need to fix it. The app is full of racist, pedophilic, sexist, men who can get away with whatever they want.

Not taking down pictures

An account named johnkelley_cuties posted a picture of me and I have reported it because I’m a minor and I am in my bathing suit and instagram won’t take it down they say they want it to be a safe app and yet they won’t remove the picture!!!!!!!

Rancid

Mainly wrote this review because Instagram won’t let me screenshot images my friends send me (absurdly annoying) but also I’ve been on this platform for years and was groomed multiple times on it and nothing was ever done about it. But my main reason is because it purposefully blocked a screenshot and I didn’t like that very much.

Terrible Community

This platform does not, in my experience, filter its content for its community. There is porn, there is gore, there literal videos of dying individuals. If you report it, don’t bother. Most often times it “does not go against “ their “Community Standards”.

This platform has gone straight to the ground right along with twitter. Used to love this platform but now it allows anything. I’ve been seeing so much gore and now witnessing people brag about dating minors. Oh, and don’t bother reporting. instagram reels has been full of fight videos, death videos, sexual content involving children, self harm, gun violence, animal abuse. It has been two - three days as of now (who knows how long this will go on) of these reels being pushed out. i don’t know if Insta is hacked or if there’s a bug in the AI system they use to approve videos, but it is disgusting. This issue has happened before when insta was pushing out p*rn videos. no matter how many times you report a video or an account, you will still be shown these videos!!!! stay off of instagram for a while!!!!!! this is crazy! children are on this app! please take a break from social media and take care of yourself. these videos can cause stress, anxiety, and paranoia. INSTAGRAM NEEDS TO FIX THIS IMMEDIATELY!!!!!
